New Patients

Consultation

On your first visit to my San Francisco office you will be welcomed and greeted a warm, knowledgeable staff. We will ask you to fill out some forms that will help me to understand your condition, medical history and concerns.

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will watch a short video that explains what Chiropractic is and how it works. You will then have an individual consultation with myself to discuss any questions you may have as well as treatment options.

History and Examination

I will perform a non-invasive examination that includes asking you specific questions and conducting specialized tests to determine what your actual problem or problems may be.

X-ray Studies

X-ray facilities are located in the office and may be required for me to examine your spinal structure in detail so I can identify any imbalances and determine the root cause of your condition.

Same-Day Treatment

After discussing your treatment plan, your goals for treatment, and answering all of your questions, you will receive your first Chiropractic treatment. Treatment may also consist of ice or heat, and soft tissue therapy. We will then discuss what you need to do at home and work, any physical restrictions while you are healing, as well as exercise or stretches.

Next Appointment

Your next appointment will be scheduled before you leave the office. I am also available to answer any questions or concerns you may have after you leave the office.

Insurance Coverage

Many people do not realize that most insurance companies do cover Chiropractic Care. This includes HMOs and Medicare. Injuries from auto accidents are covered by auto insurance policies, and work-related injuries are covered by worker compensation policies. My knowledgeable front office staff will gladly check with your insurance company to determine your benefits and coverage. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment options can be arranged.
